Dover House provides high quality, affordable accommodation for people needing nursing care, in the heart of Dover. The team are well-equipped to deliver excellent care 24/7 so that residents can have a home for life. We cater to a variety of care needs, both physical frailty and dementia type illnesses, with a dedicated, separated area in the building for each of these type of needs.
Our Care
Dover House is a 'home for life' for those who require long term care, whilst also offering short term care for others who require physical rehabilitation, assessment, or respite before returning home.

Our Approach
We believe that a person's wellbeing is more than the sum of their physical needs — it is about living meaningfully, comfortably, and with dignity, even in the context of frailty or cognitive decline.

Serving the Community
Residents at Dover House reflect the demographic of the surrounding area. We facilitate families to benefit from Local Authority or NHS funding, where private funding may not be an option, making our services accessible to the whole community.
Celebrating Exceptional Care
Every year, we recognise the exceptional care of the people who work at Dover House at our Care Awards. We identify those who go above and beyond, by giving an award to two individuals, one voted for by relatives, and one voted for by our Registered Manager.
